What's on Player Attack TV – Friday June 19

Want to know what’s on Player Attack this week? Well, here you go – a quick look at what you can expect from the next episode of Australia’s newest video games TV series!

The Hobbit - made in Australia!

The Hobbit – made in Australia!

Are you sick of E3 yet? It’s been all we’ve been hearing about for the past week, so we figured we deserved a break. That’s why this week’s Player Attack is not an E3 special! Instead, we’ve put together a short history of the Australian games industry, covering nearly 40 years of development across this wide brown land.

We look at everything from Melbourne House and The Hobbit through to Krome and TY the Tasmanian Tiger and even 2K Australia and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! There’s been a lot of ups and a lot of downs over the past few decades, so before you start thinking that nobody’s making video games in Australia, you should probably watch this.

…and, of course, come back next week for our E3 special!

How to watch Player Attack:
In Australia: Friday nights on Aurora at 9pm AEST (8:30 SA, 6pm WA).
In New Zealand: Friday nights on FaceTV at 9:30pm.
Online: Any time at PlayerAttack.com, or on YouTube!

Player Attack is also on Facebook and Twitter, so there’s no excuse not to be up to date!
