We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.
No surprises for guessing what’s #1 this week (and not just because there’s a video of it up there). The Witcher III has lasted a third consecutive week at the top of the charts, despite a pretty significant drop in actual sales this week. In fact, there’s been a drop in sales across the board – GTAV and FIFA 15 have climbed up a place even though fewer people bought either game this week compared to Week 22. (The same magic didn’t work for Splatoon, which lost sales and lost places, ending up at #4. Boo.)
Trivia for this week: Grand Theft Auto V has not dropped out of the Top 5 All Formats chart all year.
In terms of new releases, there is a grand total of one in this week’s list: Steins:Gate, out now for PS3 and Vita, which has debuted at #18.
