She will be included as part of an all-new, stand-alone, prequel story expansion for the game, accessible as part of the Season Pass.
And while we don’t know quite which Batgirl she is (Betty? Barbara? Helena? Cassandra? Stephanie?), we do know that she’s one the developers really wanted to feature. Her new content – A Matter of Family – is just one of an assortment of new bits and pieces added to the game via the $40 DLC season pass.
You’ll also get all-new story missions for the Batman himself, a bunch of new super-villains, the ability to play as Batman’s “key allies”, all new challenge maps and character skins, and – excitingly – a selection of Batmobiles, each with their own themed, custom-built race track.
As we fully ramp up development on the Season Pass, we will be sharing even more details on each monthly content drop. We hope you enjoy playing Batman: Arkham Knight as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.
Batman: Arkham Knight hits PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC from June 23.
