Swery confirms: D4 is headed to PC

Japanese cult game developer Hidetaka Suehiro (“Swery65”) is about to make a bunch of gamers very happy, with the news that his most recent release – Dark Dreams Don’t Die – is headed to PC, nearly six months after arriving on Xbox One.

Swery made the announcement in Japanese magazine Famitsu, before confirming it to a fan via Twitter in classic style:

D4 will be release for PC. #ThanksObama

The game could also be coming to Steam, with Swery “noting” fan requests for the platform.

One thing we really don’t know is how many episodes are headed to PC – but we don’t actually know how many are coming to Xbox One, either. Episodes one and two were released on Xbox One last December, so we’re assuming both will make it to PC as well, but nothing’s been confirmed just yet.

Realistically at this stage, details are pretty slim (but Swery’s made it very clear he’s very happy about the news). More information about the PC release of D4 will be made clear at Tokyo Indie Fest from May 8-10. Stay tuned.
