Player Attack TV: April 3 2015, SE3 EP09

This week, Player Attack heads to sunny San Frag-cisco to check out Dirty Bomb, the upcoming FPS from Splash Damage.

We chat to the developers – including company co-founder Rich Jolly, lead writer Ed “Bongoboy” Stern, lead designer Neil Alphonso and weapons artist Ben Garnell – about the shooter, which promises to be a throwback to the days of hardcore PC FPS.

There’s also lots of real gameplay, an explanation of Dirty Bomb‘s free-to-play model thanks to Nexon (trust me, it’s not horrible), and a quick history of the company that brought us Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and Brink.

Plus, of course, we have all the latest gaming news – this is Player Attack!

Each week, we take the biggest and most interesting news to hit the pages of Player Attack and wrap it all up into a half-hour show. Player Attack is screened Friday nights on Australian subscription TV channel Aurora and in New Zealand on FaceTV. The following Monday, the video is released online as a handy-dandy Player Attack vidcast.

Each episode is available via YouTube, Blip.tv and iTunes – and we hear rumours we may be dotted around the place in other online locations. Hit play, subscribe, and let Jessica and the team bring you up to date.
