We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.
Battlefield Hardline enjoys a second spot at the top, despite a serious challenge from Sony‘s exclusive Bloodborne. If the new Souls had made it to the top (a mere 22,500 units separate the top two), it would have made four new IP All Formats #1 debuts in the first quarter of 2015 – not bad for an industry that seems focussed on rehashing older content!
…speaking of, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is there at #3, forcing Grand Theft Auto V down to #4. One other new entry didn’t quite make the top ten – racing sim Ride hit PS3, PS4 and PC this week, entering the charts at #25.
…and in case you were wondering, last week’s #2, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, has plummeted to #12, suggesting that – perhaps – people really were buying it for that Final Fantasy XV demo after all.
