Steam Weekly Top Sellers: March 30th, 2015

Logo-Steam Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.

I’m just going to put this out there. We don’t quite know why this week’s Steam charts include Cities: Skylines twice, beyond the fact that it really is a great game and it’s sold very well. Sometimes, we see duplicates when there are Special Editions or bundles or something a little different, but as far as we can tell, these two entries (at #1 and #5) are identical. Call it what you like – a glitch in the matrix, perhaps? – but this is what we’re given by the typewriter monkeys at Steam, and perhaps we’re just going through the blurst of times.

It does make us curious, though… what game would be #10 if that pesky doubled-up 5 wasn’t there? Maybe Life is Strange! Maybe Dragon Ball Xenoverse! Maybe – and let’s be honest here – Pillars of Eternity!

#1 - Cities: Skylines

#1 – Cities: Skylines

Cities: Skylines is a modern take on the classic city simulation. The game introduces new game play elements to realize the thrill and hardships of creating and maintaining a real city whilst expanding on some well-established tropes of the city building experience.

#2 – Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
#3 – Grand Theft Auto V
#4 – Reign Of Kings
#5 – Cities: Skylines
#6 – Ori and the Blind Forest
#7 – The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited
#8 – H1Z1
#9 – BioShock Triple Pack
#10 – Sid Meier’s Civilization V: Complete Edition
