There are too many games released every day for someone to keep track of all of them, and while we try our best, we still find surprises tucked away in unusual spaces. Today is – I think – the first time I’ve heard of Bedlam… and now I want to hear lots, lots more.
It’s a freshly Kickstarted project that’s now headed to market around the middle of the year, and it’s built off of The Banner Saga engine and experience. Described as a post-apocalyptic Rogue-like RPG, you’ll be given the choice: Send your motley crew of mutants, humans, robots and cyborgs into battle, or ship ’em off to explore new areas of the map, gathering all sorts of stuff to help them survive.
While the Skyshine studio is new, it’s made up of people with solid experience – credits include Darksiders 1 and 2, Unreal Championship and Unreal Tournament. We will, of course, be keeping a close eye on this one, now we know it exists.
