For those of you who prefer your hay cart diving and cold blooded murder associated with such diving to be performed on the mighty PC, good news! Assassin’s Creed Pirates of Penance 2- sorry- Rogue, is sailing into PC controlled waters March 10.
The PC port of this wicked late, last gen installment was handled by Ubisoft Sofia- fun fact: that’s in Bulgaria- in collaboration with Ubisoft’s Singapore, Montreal, Quebec, Chengdu, Milan and Bucharest studios. So basically every studio they have. Makes for more impressive credits if nothing else.

If that cluster of numbers and letters is manageable for your rig- or pocket calculator in this day and age- and you really, really want to play this, it would be poor form for me to not mention pre-order bonuses.
As we live in 2015 and pre-order “incentives” are sadly the norm nowadays here’s what Ubi is tempting you with, or rewarding you with, depending on the level of sunny in your outlook.
If you pre-order any edition of Assassin’s Creed Rogue from the Uplay Shop you can pick any one of these listed games form the Assassin’s Creed back catalogue:
Assassin’s Creed 3
Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry
Assassin’s Creed Liberation
Assassin’s Creed Revelations
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Deluxe
Assassin’s Creed 3 Deluxe
In addition, pre-ordering the PC digital version will also nab you two additional bonus packs: The Siege of Fort de Sable and The Explorer.
Ubisoft also has another edition which is rife with physical doo-dads, offering up a Collector’s Bundle. This sucker will be available exclusively on the Uplay Shop and it includes a collector’s box, an artbook, three lithographs in an envelope and the original game soundtrack along with access to one extra single-player missions and additional items such as armor and weapon. Oh boy!
Lastly, if you haven’t already been bombarded by information, guess what? They’re adding a superfluous feature that requires you owning a obscure peripheral. For folk who own a SteelSeries Sentry, you can finally put that Tobii eye tracking feature to use, being able to look left or right to pan the camera. Be still my beating heart!
Assassins Creed Pirates of the Caribbean 2- or Rogue, if you’d prefer- will hit PCs March 10 and is also available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
