Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.
After a lovely day yesterday getting ever-so-slightly sunburned watching some great Australian bands, we’re back with the weekly Steam best-seller list! Somewhat unsurprisingly, the adventures of Franklin, Michael and Trevor have topped the charts – and developer Rockstar would like you to know that if you hurry and pre-purchase your copy before the end of the week, you’ll get a big pile of in-game cash to splash.
Sure, GTAV doesn’t launch until March 24, but if you are organised enough for a pre-purchase, you’ll get $1,000,000 in-game ($500,000 for Grand Theft Auto V and $500,000 for Grand Theft Auto Online). Do that before February 1, and you’ll also get a bonus $300,000 for Grand Theft Auto Online, as well as a downloadable copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for PC.
…yeah. We thought you might be interested in that.
