We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.
Believe it or not, we’re starting 2015 in exactly the same way as we ended 2014, with precisely the same Top 3 sitting in the charts. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has now cracked 6 weeks at #1, meaning it’s lasted one week longer than 2013’s Call of Duty: Ghosts. The rest of the tops trio are, of course, Grand Theft Auto V and FIFA 15, and it’s worth nothing that all three games sold around 50% less this week than they did the week before, a trend which expands to cover most of the top 10.
In disappointing news, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker didn’t really benefit from its unusual launch date, debuting at #16, while we’ve finally seen the two Minecraft entries split up: PlayStation gamers just didn’t buy enough this week, seeing their blocky world pushed down to #11.
