We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.
Surprise surprise! Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has clambered back up into the top spot, giving it the highly-sought after Christmas #1. It’s the fifth Call of Duty game to earn the position – but Call of Duty: Ghosts notoriously missed out last year, as a last-minute promotion saw FIFA 14 take the honours.
This year, the tables have turned, as retailers put Kevin Spacey’s latest on special, earning a 33% increase in sales and settling in at number one, one spot higher than FIFA 15.
Further down the charts, gamers are still buying Grand Theft Auto V more on PS4 than any other platform. A 97% surge in sales for Assassin’s Creed: Unity has seen it jump from #10 to #5, and The Crew has accelerated from #11 to #6, but neither is enough to hold off Far Cry 4 from being the best-selling Ubisoft game this festive week.
