Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.
Looks like more than a few people want a more punishing Christmas, as a half-price Dark Souls II catapults its way to the top of the charts. Obviously, this time of year, there’s a little magic that happens and completely ruins any sensible way of monitoring the Top 10 best-selling games, but that’s okay. Just because these titles might be the “cheapest” or the “most heavily discounted” doesn’t negate the fact that they sold a bucket-load of copies… and that’s what counts, right?
That said, I’m pretty pleased to see Don’t Starve Together popping up there at #6. That one’s definitely on my Christmas list.
