The latest patch for Assassin’s Creed: Unity has been pushed back as Ubisoft takes some extra time to “refurbish the Paris map”. This is the fourth major update to the game since launch, and it seems it still won’t fix all of the game’s problems.
As stated last week, we’d expected to release the patch today (and we know that many are anticipating its release), but we are choosing to hold off until we can give you the improvements we’ve promised. We are committed to delivering major performance improvements, which requires that we refurbish the Paris map and that will take a few more days to hit the high level of quality our players deserve.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity Patch 4 promises to address “issues with stability and performance as well as online matchmaking and connectivity (among other fixes and improvements)” – the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the myriad of game-breaking bugs that launched with the game.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
