New Zealand is getting a new game dev studio, as DayZ creator Dean “Rocket” Hall confirms plans to start one in Dunedin, on the South Island. Rocket announced his plans to leave Arma 2 studio Bohemia Interactive earlier this year, but has taken his time figuring out where to go next.
Looking for programmers, artists, etc… for my new studio @RocketWerkz. These roles initially based Dunedin, NZ. Email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you’re close enough to Dunedin that you’re tempted by this, let me make it even more enticing: Hall’s plan is to create “Valve in the South Pacific”.
