We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but Xbox One stunner Ori and the Blind Forest has been delayed. The gorgeous indie game won’t be making it onto shelves before the end of the year, with Moon Studios instead confirming it’ll be showing up some time in “early 2015”.
A spokesperson explains:
While we’re extremely excited for all of you to get your hands on Ori and the Blind Forest as soon as possible, we made the decision together with our partners at Microsoft Studios that we’ll need just a little more time in order to add a final layer of polish to – what we hope – will be an unforgettable gaming experience.
That early 2015 timeframe will see Ori and the Blind Forest arriving on PC as well as Xbox One – an Xbox 360 version is also coming later in the year.
