DriveClub shows off apology DLC offering

If you bought Driveclub, here’s a new look at the Ignition Expansion Pack, which Evolution is giving you for free, as a way of apologising for the game’s troubled launch and ongoing server dramas.

Evolution is also quick to point out that server improvements are definitely the studio’s priority right now. Anyone who can help out is focussing “exclusively” on fixing the problem, but the rest of the team is keeping busy, too:

The other members of the team are working on game updates to make Driveclub better for you and new packs to add more cars, tours and trophies to the game. We’re also working on new features like dynamic weather and replays as well as many other improvements to the game based on your feedback. We’ll give you an update on all of this soon.

The Ignition Expansion Pack shown above is one of four chunks of DLC that was planned for premium release in November, now being given away to all fans of the game. You’ll also get two livery packs and the Photo-Finish Tour Pack, meaning that just for playing the game, you’ll receive five new cars (a Renault TwinRun, a BMW M4, a KTM X-Bow R, a Caterham SP/ 300.R, and a W Motors Lykan Hypersport), 22 new tour events, 10 new trophies and 10 new livery items. All new content is playable online and offline, whatever you prefer.

DriveClub is out now for PS4, but is still suffering online issues, more than a month after launch.
