Rise of the Tomb Raider isn’t heading our way until around this time next year, but if you can’t live without more Lara Croft in your life, Crystal Dynamics is here to help. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is an isometric puzzler take on our heroine, and it’s out in just a couple of weeks.
Darrell Gallagher, head of Western development at Crystal Dynamics, explains:
Since the release of the highly successful Tomb Raider reboot in 2013 we’ve been able to spend time working on one of the games we get most frequently asked for, a sequel to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The team at Crystal worked passionately to put the very best game we could in your hands and we are very proud to share our work with you.
The sequel to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Temple of Osiris expands the two-person co-op up to four, while keeping the same action-puzzler mechanic that we know and love. You’ll play either as Lara, fellow archaeologist Carter Bell, or Egyptian deitis Isis and Horus, as you proceed through the ancient Egyptian environment (which, for some reason, is full of traps and tests!).
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is due to hit Xbox One, PS4 and PC from December 9th, as a digital-only title.
