If your day’s lacking a certain something, maybe NetherRealm has the solution. The studio’s shared a massive 30 minutes of Mortal Kombat X gameplay footage, showing off some of the playable characters that will feature in the game, plus their many variations.
(Skip to the 14:00 mark in the video for the live-stream action, the actual gameplay starts at around 18:30.)
It’s worth noting that – with Mortal Kombat X not due out until April of next year, this is by no means the finished build of the game. NetherRealm explains that what you’re seeing in the video is actually the Gamescom build, and some things have changed behind the scenes already.
Mortal Kombat X (that’s “ecks”, not “ten”), hits PS3, PS4, XBox 360, Xbox One and PC in April, 2015.
