World of Warcraft documentary to debut at BlizzCon

The rumour mill has been oddly quiet about what we should expect at this weekend’s BlizzCon, but Blizzard itself has just given us a sneaky peek at something new. World of Warcraft: Looking for Group is a documentary celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the MMO, and it looks very interesting indeed.

Packed with interviews with Blizzard staffers (both designers and executives), Looking for Group also features some of the game’s millions of fans.

If you’re going to BlizzCon, you can watch this one debut live on the Main Stage in Hall D on Saturday November 8 at 5pm (that’s just before Metallica rock the house). The film will also be shown on the free live stream and is included in the Virtual Ticket, so be sure to tune in! (What’s that in my timezone?)

…on the other hand, if you’re running around doing something else on Saturday afternoon (maybe even playing World of Warcraft), you won’t miss out. Looking for Group will also be shared on the World of Warcraft YouTube channel and on the game’s official website shortly after its BlizzCon debut.
