We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.
EA holds the title for most games at #1 for 2014 so far, sitting in the top spot for 18 out of the 43 weeks of 2014. Last year, the publisher “only” managed 10 weeks at the top. A contributing reason? FIFA 15, which has held onto #1 for a fifth consecutive week.
Only one new release in the Top 10 this week (four in the overall Top 40 charts), as Wii U exclusive Bayonetta 2 takes out #7. Civilization: Beyond Earth might have taken home gold in this week’s Steam charts, but in the UK, the PC exclusive has crept in at #18, one step ahead of Just Dance 2015 (which launched on 6 platforms and sold best on the original Wii).
