Nintendo’s much loved
monster enslavement simulator monster collecting saga, Pokémon, is hitting iOS devices again this month with a new title called Camp Pokémon. The free app is targeted more towards young children than battle hardened trainers, with a myriad of activities to prepare them for the grueling journey towards being a Pokémon master!
These activities build super important Pokémon skills, ranging from real world applications; like how to hunt down and identify Pokémon and the correct protocol for throwing Pokéballs, to more studious endeavors like learning evolutions and correct battle matchups. Oh, there’s also a photo booth where you can pose with your favourite critters too!
This is the second Pokémon app to hit the iOS store now, with The Pokémon Company releasing the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online for iPad earlier this month. Nintendo fan-boys need not get worried though, with Pokémon developer Game Freak saying that they would only bring a remake or sequel to i-Devices if they solved a problem a Nintendo handheld could not.
The newest installments to the Pokémon franchise, remakes- Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, will launch worldwide on November 14 for the Nintendo 3DS.
