We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.
Celebrating four straight weeks in the top spot, FIFA 15 holds off a couple of powerful new releases that would have been #1 contenders had they been released at almost any other time of the year. Of those games, The Evil Within won the tussle with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and both games push Shadow of Mordor into 4th place. A third new release – racing title F1 2014 rounds out this week’s Top 10.
Notably, a 70% drop in sales sees Alien: Isolation slide four places to 6th, suggesting that everyone who wanted to check out the creeping horror experience rushed out to snag it early. Makes sense – all reports we’ve heard have been glowing. (It’s an eerie, blue-tinged glow, but a glow nonetheless.)
