Steam Weekly Top Sellers: October 13th, 2014

Logo-Steam Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.

We were enticed by stories of vengeful orcs and the crazy depth of the game’s Nemesis system, and it seems Shadow of Mordor has lived up to the hype. As we well know by now, one cannot simply walk into Mordor… unless one is Talion the Gravewalker, anyway. Monolith Productions has created a game that has come from nowhere and taken the world by storm.

If you haven’t yet played it – particularly if you’ve written it off as “just another Hobbit game” – perhaps this is one you should take a look at. Shadow of Mordor is available right now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and is hitting PS3 and Xbox 360 next month. Take a deep breath and jump in.
