In August, we were shown two new LEGO Minecraft sets – The Cave and The Farm – and even though they’re not due out until November, today we’ve been treated to another sneaky peek at what’s in store. Spoiler: There’s more than just those two sets on the way.
Thanks to Russian retailer Mir Kubikov, we’re given a much more in-depth look at the new kits. As well as The Cave and The Farm, we’re also shown the somewhat similar First Night kit, which features Steve, a tree, a simple square house, a pig and an inevitable creeper.
There’s also the larger “Crafting Box” kit, which combines eight kits in one, to encompass a broader slice of Minecraft life. You’re invited to “Build your own creations”, with more than 500 individual pieces.
Moving away from the farm is The Mine, which features Steve wielding an iron pickaxe and armour, explosives, a creeper, zombie and skeleton, the ever-terrifying spider, and all the other bits and pieces you’ll need to make up a perfectly functioning Minecraft mine.
…and even further away is this dragon-themed kit – Steve gets a diamond armour, helmet, sword and bow (all the better to fight off that monster dragon and those Wanderers!).
We’re still not 100% sure on the dates or availability of these Minecraft crossover kits just yet – sorry if you were hoping for anything more specific than “November”. Given that we’ve seen images popping up in both the UK and now Russia, we’re hoping this means a European release at least is on the cards, but we’ve got our fingers crossed for international news soon.
