UKIE Game Charts, Week 40 2014

We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.

Even three killer new games weren’t enough to hold FIFA 15 out of the top spot this week (but boy did they try). Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor has officially enjoyed the biggest launch for a Lord of the Rings-inspired video game to date (selling 56% on PS4, 41% on Xbox One and a mere 3% on PC). Xbox exclusive Forza Horizon 2 races into #3 ahead of handheld-exclusive Super Smash Bros for 3DS.

The sudden influx of new games has pushed Destiny down to #5 after a 30% drop in sales – still nothing to scoff at, right?
