If you’re the sort of person who likes it when a game is released on disc rather than just online, you’ll be happy to hear that the Xbox One edition of Minecraft is headed to retail stores next month.
Publisher Microsoft has confirmed that you’ll be able to pick up the game from stores in North America from November 18. No dates just yet for Europe or the rest of the world, but we’re going to assume it’ll be out sometime around then as well.
If you can’t wait until then, feel free to play Minecraft for your Xbox One right now – it’s available via digital download and promises a world that’s 36 times larger than the Xbox 360 version. Early adopters who picked up the game on the earlier console can also upgrade to Xbox One for US$4.99, rather than needing to buy a whole ‘nother copy.
