We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.
This week’s top ten is 20% new games! While nothing was quite big enough to prevent Destiny from taking out the top spot, both Disney Infinity 2.0 and Hyrule Warriors have fit quite happily into #2 and #3 repsectively. This performance sees the latest Toy Box going one step better than its predecessor on debut (with a 32% sales increase), so the studio shouldn’t be too unhappy with that.
Destiny isn’t just rockin’ the software charts either – 72% of PS4 consoles sold in the UK last week were bundled up with the game, with the console itself seeing a serious sales boost.
Poor NHL 15 though. After a strong performance last week that gave it the #7 spot, it’s now plummeted to #25, suggesting that hockey fans all rushed onto this one out of the box… but it might not have the longevity EA would have been hoping for.
