It seems North American PC gamers are missing out on Ubisoft‘s latest compilation bundle, as we’re told Assassin’s Creed Birth of a new World – The American Saga will launch in Europe, Australia and New Zealand on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, but only on console in the U.S. and Canada.
The American Saga is a neat little compilation of the three AC games that “witnessed the birth of modern America”, and it’s hitting shelves in EU, AU and NZ in just a few weeks, but you’ve got more than a month to wait for the US.
So, what do you get? Let’s see…
- Assassin’s Creed III: Challenge the Templar’s supremacy as Connor throughout the American Revolution.
- Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD: Combat the Spanish forces in Louisiana as deadly Assassin Aveline de Grandpré.
- Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag: Explore the Caribbean seas and join the fight against the Templars as Edward Kenway, during the Golden Age of Piracy.
Regarding release dates, UbiBlog posted this news for North America, mentioning a release date of October 28, 2014, and only referring to the two console versions.
The UK version references October 3rd, and – like Australia and New Zealand – claims it’s headed to all three platforms, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. We’ve got the official Ubisoft pack shot, too.
So: What does Ubisoft have against American PC gamers? We’ve asked, and we’ll let you know.
