While neither Jill Valentine nor Chris Redfield are appearing in Resident Evil: Revelations 2, it’s not the last that we’ve seen of the Redfield family, as Capcom reveals two characters from the upcoming frightfest.
Claire Redfield is set to make her grand return. She first popped onto our screens in Resident Evil 2, but has been in a massive 12 Resident Evil games since. She is, of course, Chris Redfield’s younger brother, and a member of the human rights organisation Terra Save.
Joining Claire as a playable character: Moira Burton, daughter of Barry Burton, who starred in the original Resident Evil.
The two girls will play different roles in the upcoming game – Claire is quite combat-focussed, while Moira takes on support – but don’t be phased: Resident Evil: Revelations 2 returns to the series’ survival horror roots , rather than the more action-oriented style we’ve seen recently.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is expected early next year on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
