Anyone that knows me (or who has at least glanced at my Twitter account in the wee hours of the morning) knows I have an unconditional love for Atlus Games’ Persona series…it’s almost troubling sometimes.
Anywho, if you’re even marginally in the same boat as me, get excited friends, because the Arc System Works-developed fighting game featuring our favourite characters is coming Westward in its entirety!
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will include all 13 fighters from the standard release, and adds Persona 3 favourites Yukari Takeba, Junpei Iori, Ken Amada and Koromaru, as well as Tohru Adachi and Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4 and Marie from Persona 4 Golden! And if that wasn’t enough, they’re also throwing in a completely original character, Sho Minazuki.
Marie and Adachi will be DLC for those who buy the game within the first week of its release or to those who pick up the rad collectors edition, which includes some of the Persona tarot card set and an inflatable Teddie “bop bag.”
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be releasing for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Sept. 30.
(No word on a local Australian release but with the magic of grey importing and eBay it shouldn’t be a problem!)
