Steam Weekly Top Sellers: August 4th, 2014

Logo-Steam Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.

Player Attack HQ is currently shivering through its coldest morning in 126 years (not that we’ve been around for all of those), so it’s time for fuzzy socks and endless cups of tea and I’m even considering grabbing a hat to wear inside.

But! The games must go on! This week has no real surprises, as Divinity: Original Sin takes out the top spot yet again. There’s been some interesting movement in the second half of the charts, though… people are snapping up copies of ArcheAge. The game’s in the list twice, and it’s worth noting that the more popular option is actually the more expensive – the Archeum Founders Pack will set you back a neat US$149.99 – but it does give you early access to the game’s Alpha and Beta tests and a whole stack of in-game bonuses, so…
