Telltale Games‘ episodic adaptation of The Walking Dead will return to our screens with a third season. Company president Kevin Bruner made the announcement as part of the Skybound Entertainment panel at San Diego Comic-Con, and surprised absolutely nobody.
Joined on stage by comic creator Robert Kirkman (and, later, actor Norman Reedus), Bruner discussed the working relationship between Telltale and comic publisher Skybound and even enjoyed a manly hug or two.
We don’t yet know anything about Season Three other than the fact it’s actually happening, but Season Two is currently in full swing, with the fourth of five episodes released last week.
Telltale Games has its hands a little full at the moment, working on Tales from the Borderlands as well as an adaptation of Game of Thrones, while the fifth episode of The Wolf Among Us (the studio’s take on comic series Fables) hit shelves earlier this month.
