23 songs we know will be in Fantasia: Music Evolved

Want to know what songs you’ll be dancing to when Fantasia: Music Evolved hits shelves a little later this year? We don’t know the full tracklist just yet, but we’ve rounded up all the tunes confirmed by Harmonix, and even if it stopped here, we’d be pretty happy.

Let’s start with the more pop offerings, shall we?

  • Avicii – Levels
  • David Bowie – Ziggy Stardust
  • Depeche Mode – Enjoy the Silence
  • Drake (ft Rihanna) – Take Care
  • Fun. – Some Nights
  • Peter Gabriel – In Your Eyes
  • Gorillaz – Feel Good Inc
  • Cee Lo Green – Forget You
  • Elton John – Rocket Man
  • Kimbra – Settle Down
  • Lorde – Royals
  • M.I.A. – Galang
  • Bruno Mars – Locked out of Heaven
  • Nicki Minaj – Super Bass
  • The Police – Message in a Bottle
  • Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody
  • White Stripes – Seven Nation Army
  • The Who – The Real Me

…but of course, it wouldn’t be Fantasia without some classics thrown in as well:

  • Dvorak – Symphony No. 9 from the New World
  • Mozart – Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
  • Mussorgsky – Night on Bald Mountain
  • Tchaikovsky – Nutcracker Medley
  • Vivaldi – The Four Seasons: Winter, 1st Movement

Fantasia: Music Evolved has been designed as a sort of follow-on from the 1940 movie and its 1999 sequel. The game puts you in the shoes of the Sorceror’s Apprentice, conducting your way through an impressive collection of tunes – just like Mickey did.

There are different versions of each song included in the game – so you can remix it as you play – and each song features in its own unique venue.

Stay tuned for our Fantasia: Music Evolved interview from E3 2014 – the game’s due to hit Xbox One and Xbox 360 on October 21.
