PvZ brings Garden Warfare to PlayStation

Quick everyone! Look surprised! Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is headed to both PS3 and PS4! Yesterday, publisher EA posted a couple of creative teaser images, but now we have confirmation – and it’s coming sooner than you think.

Mark your calendars, the game will hit new platforms on August 19. If you want to get in on a little fast-paced gardening action, you can slap down a pre-order for Garden Warfare right now, which will net you a few nifty bonuses. You’ll get PlayStation-themed customisation items for your plants and zombies (including Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper and Fat Princess-themed hats) – and a couple of digital card packs to boost your game, too.

Prefer to satisfy your green thumb away from the console? There’s also PlayStation Vita Remote Play support.

You can expect more gameplay footage – and probably more details – to come out of Sony and EA at E3 next month. If you can’t wait until August, you can always get your Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare fix on Xbox 360 and Xbox One – or wait until June 26th to grab it on PC.
