UKIE Game Charts, Week 21 2014

We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.

Number one with a bullet (or more, probably): Wolfenstein: The New Order. It’s officially the second-biggest release of 2014 in the UK, with only Titanfall managing to do better on debut. A few more stats: This is the first Wolfenstein game to reach #1 on the UK All Formats chart, which has been running since 1997, and it’s also topped each individual format chart for the platforms it launched on. This week, The New Order accounts for a quarter of all entertainment software unit sales.

In other news, Goat Simulator makes its chart debut at #12, and yes – there are two different Minecrafts in the top 10.
