Final Fantasy III hits Steam tomorrow

If you’ve never caught up on the wonder that is Final Fantasy III, an opportunity is about to present itself. The game – originally released in Japan in 1990 – is about to land on Steam, so you have no excuse.

Of couse, this isn’t the first time FF3 has popped up in the west: We first saw it on DS back in 2006, and since then it’s shown up on the Wii Virtual Console, PlayStation Store and both iOS and Android smartphones.

We first learned about this re-release earlier this month, when we were promised a whole lot of eye-candy. Improved visuals, polished-up story sequences and new designs for Job Mastery Cards, as well as new Steam Trading Cards, Achievements and “more”!

At time of writing, you’ve got approximately 15 hours to wait before getting back to Final Fantasy III… if you can’t wait that long, Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy XI are also available on Steam.
