The official, Microsoft-endorsed mash-up pack is due out sooon, bringing with it a blocky nostalgia fix.
You’ll get reskinned menus and interface, a new texture set, look-alike items inspired by the game, music tracks from the Halo series, and 40 new character skins. There’s also a brand new world map, featuring iconic series locations… and yes, Blood Gulch is there, of course.
While we assume that this – like other Minecraft mash-ups – will be free, there’s no set release date just yet. We’re promised more information this week – in the meantime, you’ll just have to make do with these screens, showing just some of the characters and locations that will be available.
Remember, if you’d prefer your Master Chief a little less-pixelated, Halo 5: Guardians is on its way, and we’ll be learning more about that at E3 next month.
