The Division's release slips into 2015

Remember that exceptionally awesome looking Tom Clancy game we saw at E3 last year. Tom Clancy’s The Division, that was the one. Well, sad new folks. The game’s release has slipped from a 2014 release window into 2015, meaning one less awesome and shiny next-gen exclusive this year.

The Division

The Snowdrop Engine is very purdy. No wonder it’s next-gen exclusive.

The game is being built by Massive Reflections and Red Storm Entertainment and runs on Ubisoft’s remarkably impressive Snowdrop Engine; a next generation development engine specifically for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The developer had this to say:

Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don’t want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it’s ready.

They went on to say that the community has been integral to the development of The Division and that the developers will have something to showcase at this years E3 trade show in Los Angeles.

So there you have it. Keep your eyes peeled during E3 for more info about this fantastic looking next gen title and more.

We’ll have E3 updates this June as they happen, here on Player Attack.
