According to Ubisoft’s (riveting) financial presentation, the Assassin’s Creed Unity slide lists the Montreal studio as lead developer with assistance being provided by other internal studios based in Toronto, Singapore, Quebec, Annecy, Shanghai, Chengdu, Kiev, Montpellier and Bucharest.
The slide was also brimming with other details like a Fall release date, an oft misquoted and cliched Marie-Annoinette saying and that Ubisoft wants the French Revolution period setting (oh, wait! Spoilers!) to be as strong as the colonial-era time period experienced in Assassin’s Creed 3.
Assassin’s Creed Unity is currently being developed for the PlayStation 4, XBOX One and PC, with no word whether a port will make it previous gen consoles. Let’s just hope it can follow in good stead of the amazing AC IV,otherwise heads are sure to roll!
