Rumours resurface for PC Red Dead Redemption

It’s only to be expected, when Rockstar Games keeps so quiet on its projects, gamers are bound to start rumours. The latest isn’t even a new rumour, but the argument that Red Dead Redemption is heading to PC is gaining weight yet again.

This time around, a sleuthy gamer spotted a listing for Rockstar‘s open-world Western in a Windows compatibility database, suggesting that the game should be playable on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.

This listing can only be created if a developer submits the game, or if Microsoft Testing approves it.

Last year, we heard that Rockstar was hiring PC developers to help move games onto the platform – but at this stage, both Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive maintain “there are no plans” to bring Red Dead Redemption to PC.
