Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition delayed

Suda51’s ridiculous Killer is Dead has been delayed as it moves from console to PC. We were promised the Nightmare Edition by May 9th, but are only now finding out we’ll have to wait a while longer to get our grubby paws on it.

The new date is May 23rd, giving you a full two weeks to make sure you’re in the right headspace – and potentially to upgrade your PC to match these new specs!

  • OS: Windows Vista 64-bit
  • Processor: 2.0 Ghz or above
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GPU that supports Shader Model 3.0
  • DirectX: Version 10
  • Hard Drive: 13 GB available space

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit, Windows 8
  • Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz(4 CPUs
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450
  • DirectX: Version 11

Despite the mixed reviews when Killer is Dead hit consoles back in 2012, it seems the teams at both Grasshopper Manufacture and publisher Deep Silver see there’s some good to the game. The Nightmare Edition of Killer is Dead includes a new theatre mode, all previously released DLC, and a shiny new difficulty setting.
