Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is headed to PC and consoles this November. The big announcement was apparently too big for Activision to keep to itself, with the game’s reveal trailer posted online two days earlier than the publisher might have wanted.
Just a few hours ago, we were told a new Call of Duty was on the way, with a big reveal scheduled for May 4th. Now though, we’ve got a much better idea of what we’re looking at: Futuristic technology, Private Military Contractors and Kevin Spacey.
Short version: Spacey is the bad guy, running a PMC as a way of getting back at the US government. Your task (we assume) is to bring him down.
While you’re doing that, you’ll be able to mess around with a stack of new-fangled technology, climbing buildings, using personal cloaking abilities and riding hoverbikes.
Obviously, there’s still plenty that we don’t know, but this news does make the May 4th reveal a little less exciting. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be out across all platforms on November 4th – mark your calendars!
