Mass Effect trilogy spotted for PS4 + Xbox One

The Mass Effect trilogy may be coming to new-gen consoles, if a Chilean retailer is to be believed. A recent database update apparently outs new versions of the game for both PS4 and Xbox One, but – of course – EA and developer BioWare are keeping silent.

It’s very easy to accidentally hit the wrong key and seem to announce something that’s not factually correct, but accidentally creating mocked-up box art seems much more unlikely.

The page was discovered by NeoGAF user Rushersauce, and follows on BioWare‘s Aaryn Flynn commenting on Twitter that the team had discussed new-generation releases.

We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we’ll share.

At this stage, the Zmart website does not list any predicted dates or prices for the potential new releases, but both versions are still on the website at time of writing (PS4, Xbox One). In the meantime, if you really want your Mass Effect fix, you’ll just have to pick it up on Xbox 360, PS3 or Windows PC.
