We’ve been waiting a while for news, but it’s finally been confirmed: The Sims 4 will be at E3 2014 as part of EA‘s showcase.
The game first popped onto our collective radars with a coded message back in May of last year, and then stayed quiet until a further announcement in October, revealing a late 2014 release date.
Now, executive producer Rachel Franklin has told Twitter that more news is coming in just over a month:
Hey Simmers. Confirming all the rumors. Yes, The Sims 4 will be at E3.
E3 2014 is being held in Los Angeles from June 10-12, with an EA press conference anticipated for June 9th.
The studio’s been keeping quiet about just what’s in store with the new Sims, but we’re told it will be a more “emotional” experience, and will not require an always-on internet connection.
