It seems that no matter how many gamers were excited over the release of The Elder Scrolls Online, there were more people who wanted a sporting fix instead. FIFA 14 returns to the top of the charts after eight weeks of languishing further down in the top 10 – giving the game its 11th week at #1.
There is of course the argument that The Elder Scrolls Online is only currently available on one platform, while FIFA 14 is all over everything, and the game is also easily purchased directly from Bethesda, which won’t show up in these charts. It will be interesting to see whether the PS4/Xbox One launch of the game pushes it any further up the list, when it happens “soon”.
