Trials Fusion got a decent-sized Closed Beta update over the weekend, with eight new tracks (including two new training programs) added from the new Urban Sprawl environment. To celebrate, Ubisoft and RedLynx have brought in an old friend.
That’s Erik Estrada, known for playing Frank “Ponch” Poncharello, a highway patrol motorcycle officer in 70s TV series CHiPs – and it looks like he disagrees with a few of the game’s dangerous antics.
If you’ve ever played any of the Trials games, you’ll know what to expect from Fusion. All the “maddeningly addictive” physics-based gameplay is still there, but this time around there’s been a new FMX tricks system thrown in as well.
Something we’re guessing even Estrada approves of, however, is an inclusion in the new Beta update that actually lowers the game’s minimum requirements on PC. Previously, you needed an AMD Radion 5850 / NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460, but with the new update in place, you’ll be good to go with an AMD Radeon 5770 or a Geforce GTS 450.
Trials Fusion launches on April 24th – if you want in on the beta, act fast and pre-order your copy of the game from selected digital retailers including Uplay and Steam.
