A fan asked Spencer, straight out, whether this year’s conference would be as “game focused” as 2013. Spencer’s reponse was refreshing:
Yes, I think you’ll see very few execs.
He went on to explain that the briefing this year will be 90 minutes long – and Microsoft is already struggling to fit everything in.
We are already over our 90-minute time limit and having to move stuff out of show.
Of course, Spencer acknowledges that there are “other places” to announce projects (like days two and three), while the studio may just show new games off directly on the show floor.
E3 2014 takes place June 10-12 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
