Powerpuff Girls game to hit Steam March 14

If you’re anything like me (which I wouldn’t wish on many) then you may of grown up loving the exploits of three adorable little arse kickers by the names of Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup. That’s right, the Powerpuff Girls!

Having been over 10 years since the the last episode aired on Cartoon Network, the girls are back in Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville.

Not much is known about Defenders of Townsville yet but the developer Radian Games describes it as “a metroidvania with flying superheroes and a heavy dose of action.”

The original voice cast have returned for each of their respective unstoppable, juggernauts of a grade schooler and for those not too keen on the minimalistic redesign seen in the trailer, have no fear, since there is also a classic mode, which returns the girls to their 2000 style glory!

Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville is slated to hit Steam on March 14 and will run over the Linux, Mac and PC platforms. Alas, no price point is available yet but the developer assures that this and proper Steam page will be up soon!
