Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.
Okay, so here’s a quick look at what we’re dealing with: DayZ leads the survival horror onslaught yet again, but there’s some interesting things happening further down the list.
Most excitingly: This is the first time that we’ve seen South Park: The Stick of Truth in the best-seller charts. You can thank Steam‘s pre-order for that one – it’s still three weeks before the game’s actually released.
#1 – DayZ
DayZ Early Access is your chance to experience DayZ as it evolves throughout its development process. Be aware that our Early Access offer is a representation of our core pillars, and the framework we have created around them. It is a work in progress and therefore contains a variety of bugs. We strongly advise you not to buy and play the game at this stage unless you clearly understand what Early Access means and are interested in participating in the ongoing development cycle.
#2 – Rust
#3 – Borderlands 2 Game of the Year
#4 – Starbound
#5 – Democracy 3
#6 – South Park: The Stick of Truth
#7 – 7 Days to Die
#8 – Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
#9 – Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning – Collection
#10 – Octodad: Dadliest Catch
